POstSecondary Students

Bethesda has a long tradition of welcoming students who are in the area for further education.

It's our goal to provide an opportunity to continue growing in your faith, connect to community, and provide opportunities to belong at a church that can be your 'home church' away from home.

Graduate Students

There are many students who relocate to St. John's from all over the world to continue in their field of study.

These students find a space to connect with peers, engage in small groups, and they often serve as volunteers at Bethesda.

Young Professionals

Many Young Adults at Bethesda find themselves beyond their education, and into a new stage of life. This group are growing more and more connected.

There are small groups, activities/events, as well as serving opportunities for Young Professionals at Bethesda.

Free Bus to and from Memorial Campus every Sunday.

We know that it can be so easy to miss out on attending church because of the inconveniences that arise as a student. In 2016 we realized that many of our students were seeking rides to and from MUN campus each Sunday, so we have been providing a bus to help students attend the 11:15 AM service ever since.

This bus currently stops in front of the Chemistry Building (of Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador) at 11:00 AM followed by a stop at MacPhearson Residence (entrance across from Hatcher House) before bringing students to Bethesda. It returns students to campus shortly after the 11:15 AM service (approximately 12:40 PM).

In case of changes in the schedule, please contact us to be added to the emailing list for notifications.
